About Gite de Bacchus
On the edge of the village, within 5km drive of the River Cher. This charming holiday cottage was built in the early 19th century, and has been carefully restored to retain many of its original features, exposed beams, and a large, open, stone fireplace. It stands in the grounds of the friendly owner’s home with its own private terrace and garden. There are bicycles available for guests to use. This is a wine-producing region, and many vineyards offers visits and tastings. An ideal location for exploring the Loire Valley, the château of Cheverny, Chambord, and Blois, with its old quarter, museum, and fine restaurants well-worth visiting. For golf lovers, the 18-hole golf course at Cheverny is only 20km.
